AFAA’s mission is to reward and celebrate fashion and art creatives, encouraging both established and emerging Africans in the sector towards capacity building for self-reliance, and overall improvement of the African continent’s GDP growth and employment opportunities.

To see the African fashion and arts sector become a global focus, promoting African designs and crafts to a global audience, promoting African cities and tourism, and enhancing intra-African trade and business relationships.
